Every winter there are colors that most people gravitate towards, black, grey, brown & winter white, in NY black, grey & white is a year round uniform. This winter I decided to branch out and try some color. I won’t lie, i’m one of those people who’s wardrobe consists of blacks & greys so I figured if I were to try some color it should be my outerwear. It’s crazy to me that I’ve become that person who has accumulated 50 black pants and 20 grey Tshirts, because growing up I never wore black. I loved pink, beige, white, teal and then I moved to NYC lol. The coat I chose to add some color to my life is by Jocelyn fur, not only is this coat ultra chic & vibrant it’s extremely warm and made of dyed silver fox.
What I like most about this coat is you can dress it up or down depending on how it’s styled. For this look, I decided to pair the coat with vegan leather pants by Blank NYC and my favorite sneakers by Golden Goose for a semi casual look. Since I find it hard to remain stylish past November, this coat is perfect for keeping me up to par during the colder winter months. As temperatures drop, I plan on redoing this look(probably during fashion week) with either my favourite over the knee boots or a pair of cute ankle booties. This outfit is comfy yet stylish and would be perfect for a brunch date or a day outing with your fab girlfriends. If fur isn’t your thing which is totally understandable, or you are on a budget, I have included some fur faux alternatives below.
