Canadian Tuxedo otherwise known as Denim on Denim, is one of my favorite outfits choices. No it’s not due to the fact that I am Canadian (i’m from Toronto) lol, I just love how chic and stylish denim on denim looks. My go-to look for the Canadian tuxedo, is pairing a pair of jeans with a button down denim shirt. Sometimes I will do the same look with a denim pencil skirt and throw on some heels, if I want to be a bit more dressed up.
I was feeling a bit adventurous, so I decided instead of using a more traditional style denim, I would try two tone denim. I’ve been kinda obsessed with two tone denim as I told you guys in my previous post crazy for two tone. For this look I wore my new jeans from the Who What Wear Target Collection. Now if you guys haven’t tried anything from the Who What Wear collection, I suggest you do. This collection is so reasonably priced yet the styles are super fashionable & classic, kind of a good alternative if you get tired of Zara(my go to store). The jeans were only $34.99 and the quality was way more than I anticipated, the fit was perfect which is often hard for me to find in denim and I paired the jeans with a button down crop top. I’ll be honest wearing a crop top gave me anxiety I recently gained over 15lbs, and I’ve been feeling very body conscious lately but since the pants are high waisted that eased my fear a bit lol.
To finish the look off I added these stylish embroidery heels from Windsor store to add some color to my outfit, these heels are what I call cheap & chic. I mean who doesn’t like designer?? but it’s always great when you can score a hot item for a low price, and i’m all about the deals. I’m funny when it comes to my shoes but these babies were good quality, the heel is a bit on the high side so keep that in mind. To play up the red in the shoes, I chose my go to bag the Chanel WOC. I hope you guys like this look as much as I did, Outfit details below.
