It’s no secret gingham has taken over this season. Whether it’s a blouse, skirt or dress i’m sure most of you have worn gingham this spring. I’m not going to lie, gingham at first was a bit intimidating for me, because i’m more of a jeans & tee kinda gal. I knew I wanted to incorporate it into my wardrobe, but I wasn’t sure how. I was shopping on Asos one afternoon when I finally found the gingham piece I wanted to purchase, a beautiful maxi skirt that I would be able to wear with heels, flats or sneakers. For this outfit I added a T-shirt & my go to motocyle jacket to complete the look and make it more edgy.
The T-shirt I chose was from H&M which says FEMME VIBE, it was important for me to get a fun graphic tee that wouldn’t compete with the skirt. I added my favorite Moto jacket i’ve worn with previous looks by Lamarque, a leather company out of Montreal Canada. Random fact i’m Canadian, so i’m always happy to wear/support Canadian brands π I wore heels which is totally out of the norm for me, but I plan to wear this look again with some vans. Have you guys tried gingham? What item did you choose? I would love to hear all about it. Comment below!

I've been hesitant to trying out this trend, mostly because i haven't seen any looks i loved but you make it look so fun, french and chic. The tee & motorcycle jacket paired with the skirt…. Absolutely brilliant!β€ @_linamarie
